Waverley Helpmates
Offering a supported work environment for intellectually challenged young people, WHM offers cleaning, gardening and ironing services for the local community. Ashwood Children's Centre uses the gardening services, and several of our educators use the ironing services, great results and very reasonably priced. Grill'd Restaurant
Ashwood Children's Centre has been privy to a $300.00 grant on two occasions recently, voted most popular choice by Grill'd users in the month of June 2016 and July 2017. We love that we are able to use this money to strengthen up our sustainability measures. Our thanks go to Grill'd for offering this fantastic community opportunity.

Australian Scholarship Group (ASG)
In July 2017 we applied for a community grant through ASG to support literacy and numeracy in our service, specifically to introduce a children's borrowing library complete with library cards and borrowing bags. We were successful in receiving $2000.00 and are now working on the final touches before the opening of our new library. {Children will visit the ACC library, make their choice, sign on to the borrowing agreement, submit their card for stamping and pop their books into their borrowing bag, which has been hand decorated. Children will be able to take the books home for a two week period, read them with their parents and siblings, and return them by the due date. This process is supported by recent visits to the Mt Waverley Community Library, with whom we have had a long affiliation.
City of Monash - Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley
Ashwood Children's Centre delivers its high quality childcare and Kinder services from a Monash building. Council maintains the building and provides a favourable lease agreement so that we can maintain a "not for profit" status. Centre Management works in close contact with Council representatives to ensure a healthy and positive working relationship. Ashwood is grateful for the support of City of Monash.
